Hello Dearies! So, in all honesty, there is nothing, not a damn thing that would ever/could ever tempt me into going out on black Friday. I don’t enjoy shopping to begin with and adding the crowds would kill me. I’d be rolled up in a ball crying my eyes out within the first three minutes. I just couldn’t handle all of the people. That being said, if they ever invent some miracle pill that makes me brave enough to enter the crowds, these are the items I would elbow my way to the front of the line for. All items I would use to enhance my photography business.

Needed a change
Hello Dearies! So one of the fun things about having a baby (that NO ONE tells you about) is that after the baby is out and your hormones start to return to normal, your hair falls out. Like a lot! I knew this going in because I had two other kids but this time it is a whole bunch worse. Like there is red hair everywhere in my house and if I wanted to make a wig, I probably could. I am seriously shocked that I have anymore hair on my head at all. It comes out by the handful. I don’t even have to pull it. I gently put my fingers through my hair and BAM! handful of hair. And it’s not one handful a day. It’s several! It has been causing me extra stress so I decided that if I was going to have my hair fall out, I could at least cut it so it’d be less noticeable. I haven’t had short hair since my oldest son was born 5 years ago so I didn’t want to go too short but I knew I needed a change. I’m really really happy with how it looks. It’s still longish but it’s a big enough change so I don’t notice my hair falling out all the time and everyone else has been commenting on how much they like it. That’s always a plus!
Before: I was covering my eye because I had a bad reaction to some of the Halloween makeup I wore this year and 3 weeks later, it still kind of looks like someone punched me in the face.
After: After getting it cut and re-dyed. I’m so happy with it! My eye also looks a lot better. There is still a lot of dryness when you are up close but it no longer looks overly red and beat up.

Snow Bunny
Hello Dearies!
I should have taken my glasses off to show how cool this looked. I did some fun shimmery wintery blues :) This was back when we still had snow. It's all melted now :(

Five Fandom Friday: Characters I Would Invite To My Thanksgiving Feast
Hello Dearies!
1. Turanga Leela: She's a kick ass lady and since the rest of my party are dudes, I need a strong female influence.

2. Sideshow Bob: Every party needs at least one homicidal maniac... Right???
5. Data as Sherlock Holmes: 2 of my favorite characters in one. You can't get any better than that. :)

Dry Run Fun
Hello Dearies! So a dry run is basically a simple practice makeup where I skip the foundation either because I'm running low or I'm too lazy and don't want to have to do a heavy cleanup between each makeup. It's fun because I can do a lot of things in one afternoon. I can also decide quickly if an idea is working or not and I can easily fix mistakes. If a find a makeup is too hard for me during a dry run, there is little chance of me succeeding at it when I have a full face foundation on.

5 Fandom Friday: Smart Phone Apps I Cannot Live Without
1. Instagram. This should be a no-brainer. I’m a photographer and anything that takes away from the drama of other social sites and lets us focus on life makes me happy. If I could get off all my sites and just do instagram, I would. I’ve got a other apps to add to this list that I enjoy but instagram is really the only one I can’t live without.
2. Twitter. I avoided twitter in the beginning. I already had facebook and I thought twitter would be a waste of my time. But after hearing about how facebook controls my feed so I don’t always get to see what I want, and that not everyone could see me, I had to give twitter a try. I love it! Like so much! I've met more friends and also more clients (they pay my bills ) on twitter. It’s a great site and I am lucky enough that I don’t find it as dramatic as some do. I think it’s all about who you follow. I’ve been able to digitally surround myself with awesome people :)
3. Google Calendar. My memory is absolutely horrible. If I don’t write something down, it’ll be forgotten immediately. I put everything in my calendar. It has made my life so much easier.
4. Pinterest. Has there ever been a site so wonderful. I think pinterest is officially where I get all of my ideas. I don’t even remember my life before pinterest. I really don’t :)
5. And that’s all folks. I know we need five but the truth is I try to stay off of my phone as much as possible so I deleted all time wasters… You can argue that pinterest is the biggest of all time wasters but I disagree. I know a lot of people pin all day with nothing to show for but I actually enjoy doing crafty things I’ve found there. I do at least 2 a week so I call that a win :)

5 Fandom Friday: Comfort Foods That Always Make Me Feel Better
I looooooooooooooooooooooove to cook! So I took to instagram to find my versions of all of my favorite comfort foods. It took awhile to find them all. It turns out I don’t take as many photos of food as I thought :)
Oh and for those wandering about last weeks post, I decided to skip that one. You see, I recently had a baby. And while many woman getting cravings, I get anti-cravings. This means instead of wanting a food, I hate it and the smell/taste of it makes me sick. One of my biggest anti-cravings was candy and chocolate. And even though Thor is now 2 months old, the anti-cravings still haven’t worn off. Even looking at photos of my favorites made me sick. I just couldn't do it. Anyways, long story short, I love Cadbury Eggs... but I can’t look at them right now :)
Not onto to my favorite yummy comfort foods:
1. Mashed Potatoes with Chives. I make it every holiday or big family get together and then about twice a month, I’ll mash up a potato and make a single serving for myself.
2. Soft pretzel bites with Cheesy dip. These are shockingly simple to make. And now they have become a huge favorite of my friends so they insist on me making them whenever they come over for movie nights.
3. Popcorn with skittle. My cousin and I discovered this awesome treat on accident while at a movie theatre when we were kids and we’ve been eating it ever since. Except now I can’t stand microwave popcorn so a pan pop my own. It’s sooooooooo much better that way. It also tastes way better when we’re playing Scrabble. Don’t ask me why :)
4. Homemade pizza. The one photographed includes grilled chicken, mushrooms and white alfredo sauce. So so yummy!
5. Grilled Cheese sandwiches with tomato soup. I saved the best for last. This has been my all-time favorite meal since I was a kid. Now I make it whenever I’m feeling sick or unhappy. It is the all-time BEST get well meal.

Thursday Nail Day
This happened because my hubby likes sports :)
Haha, ok I'm not that bad. I actually like watching with my friends and family. I enjoy cooking for the games and supporting my team. I wouldn't watch if I was all alone but it's fun to have a group over.
