This body painting is a throw back to this summer when I was still preggers. It's not something that I have ever done before so I apologize for the quality. It turns out that painting your own belly (especially when you can't even see the bottom half of it) is like really really hard. And in all honesty never something I would normally do. One of my twitter friends was doing a scavenger hunt and asked if I would help her out with a pregnant belly painting. I have huge stretch marks and I was already a good sized chunk before I got pregnant so I really thought I would be embarrassed to share my belly with the world but this was actually fun. Oh and I put on my Homer shirt because I wanted to be all match-ie. It was not my intent to make my boobs look like giant eyeballs. That just sorta happened :)

Now onto today's pumpkin... the pumpkins I carved for this year will be posted next week! I'm so excited to share them. They rock :)
Do you ever see something online and think "I could totally do that!" but then you do it and think "Oh, no. No, I can't"
Well this pumpkin is one of those moments for me. The idea is so so so cool! It's a white pumpkin carved like a skull put inside of an orange pumpkin carved like a traditional Jack-O-Lantern.
Mine did not turn out. It's not horrible but it's not great either. I think my biggest issue was my proportions were off. The pumpkins needed to fit together better than they did. Either my orange one was to big or my white one was too small. I've never measured my pumpkins ahead of time before. Oh well, lesson learned. I still had fun with it :)

Costume Ideas - Clown
So it turns out my little guy is afraid of ghosts but has no problem with clowns. He didn't even look twice at me. Just started eating... Now I'm starting to wonder what my normal day to day makeup looks like to him. Ha!
Anyways, I'm not a fan of this look. I don't hate it completely. I just think it could be improved upon. I think if I had fake lashes available and an actual clown nose, this could have been really cool. I will have to find a clown nose and try this makeup out again.
Costumes ideas - Ghost
So fun fact about this makeup, I put it on while the babe was sleeping. When he woke up to eat he just stared at me all wide eyed for about three minutes. Then he started to cry. I had to wash it all off before he would eat.
I was really happy with how this makeup turned out. I needed to go a little stronger on the white foundation I think but overall it looked really cool!

5 Fandom Friday: My Must See List Of Halloween Movies
Sorry, I’m one day late. My Friday was a very busy day. It took quite awhile to limit myself to 5 movies and when you read my list you’ll see that I technically didn’t. I couldn’t help myself. I’ve put them in ascending order of scariness. The top of my list is giggle and enjoy yourself scary. The bottom of my list is pee your pants scary… Ok, maybe not pee yourself. I didn’t go to scary with my list but it’s the scariest of the group :)
1. Casper. Now I’m sure I’m not the only one that had a serious crush on Casper growing up… Ok maybe I am but I’m definitely not the only girl out there that will watch absolutely every movie with Christina Ricci. I loved everything about this movie. I was also an awkward teen longing to be accepted by my classmates… but I did not have the giant kickass house full of Ghosts. Bummer :)
2. The Burton Collection. Ok so this is 3 movies, not one but let me explain. I read a fan theory online that said that these movies where the beginning, middle, and end of Jack Skellingtons life. There are a few flaws and arguments that can be made against this theory but I love it and I now watch each movie (in the real order) all the time. Just watch the boy/man/skeleton with his dog/skeleton dog/ghost dog and it all makes perfect sense!
3. The Addams Family: Again this is two movies instead of one but I defy anyone to watch one without the other. It is just not possible! This creepy family is the epitome of happiness. Seriously, They are so far from the norm but they truly love and take of each other. They don’t care what other people think about them. They also accept everyone else for who they are. These are the perfect role models for how people should live their lives.
4. Sweeny Todd. I adore this movie. The music, the gore. It’s just amazing! It’s got Helena and Johnny. How can it be wrong?
4. Trick or Treat. This movie is a traditional scary Halloween movie. If you like horror and adorable little psychopaths, You’ll love this movie!

Past Costumes - My Fawn
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I loved this makeup. Confession time: I actually forgot to paint on my nose until just before I took these photos. Haha! You can see how much that effects the makeup in the photo with my bunny (RIP Wreck It Rabbit. I miss you) I put my hair up to look sort of like ears and I put twigs in my hair as antlers.

5 Fandom Friday: Characters I'd Love To Dress Up As For Halloween
3 of these are male but I love them so much, I would do a gender twist :)
1. Boo in the monster costume: She is adorable and one of the cutest characters ever made.
2. Data from Star Trek the Next Generation: This photo of him as both human and android is one of my favorites. If I ever get a chance to be Data, this is what I’ll do. He’s actually not that hard to put together. I think the only reason I haven’t done him yet is because I need to get the right colored contacts.
3. Leeloo from The Fifth Element: My favorite female character and my favorite actress in one :)
5. Hellboy: He’s my 2nd favorite comic book character and my 1st favorite that wouldn't require me to wear spandex. Haha :)
Countdown to Halloween - Pumpkin Friday
I love Jack-O-Lanterns. I Love love love them! So every Friday until Halloween I will be showing off my past pumpkins!
This year I decided that instead of buying a book or dowloading a pattern that I would just freehand my designs. I think I was just being lazy... Anyone who has taped a pattern to a pumpkin, poked holes in it and then cut out the shapes in a dot to dot type fashion understands how it is a royal pain. Worth it but still annoying. I looked online for designs that were siple enough that I could easily replicate them and I am pretty happy with the results. I also painted pumpkins for the first time this year. I saw a photo of white pumpkins painted with only simple black paint and I had to make my own. I really loved them. They look so classy. So not really me (Haha!) but still fun.
